Sophia Florence is a comedian from Central Connecticut. She is a chemical engineer during the day, and writes comedy and screenplays at night. She is currently working on directing a horror/comedy movie titled "Abandonment," with her co-host of Comedy in the Dirty (Waterbury's best and only monthly comedy show), Kevin Jones II. Her jokes tend to revolve around absurdity, sex, and horror movies.

Comedian Kristy LaFluer

Raylene Taskoski talks to Comedian Kristy LeFluer about her horrible new england accent, cross dressing ex-husbands (not mine), Kinks, sex fantasies, laughter is a gift, female comics and gig work + unemployment ... and probably lots of other stuff I forgot to write down. 

Kristy Lafleur is a 40yr old from Massachusetts. She's been doing stand up since a friend convinced her to try performing at an open mic. That night she fell in love with making people laugh. Her NC-17 humor includes personal stories,attacking societies obvious short comings, and pissing people off. She has performed everywhere from NYC, Connecticut, Maine, R.I., Mass and New Hampshire.

Facebook After Dark

Raylene Taskoski talks to Caitlin ... who went to the facebook group and said "You should talk about after dark Facebook groups!" to which I replied ... I don't know anything about After Dark facebook groups, want to come talk about them on my podcast? And Voila! I had a new guest!

We talked about After Dark Facebook groups, glass toys, sex ed in high school and college, 16 and Pregnant, more about glass toys and all those crazy after dark facebook groups.

Emily Siero is an actor/comedian currently based in CT. She studied acting in college at Marymount in NYC where she immersed herself in everything creative from student films to stand-up. She's also a yoga teacher & works in social media marketing. She has a self-help podcast called Work It Own It, available on Spotify & Apple Podcasts. When she's not performing or auditioning, she enjoys hiking, meditating on rocks, people watching & cooking.

UConn Sexperts

Raylene Taskoski talks to Claudia and Emma (two of the quietest guests ever) about their job as Student Health Educators under the program "Sexperts". We talk about the programs they teach (Rubberwear, for instance), their FREE "Glove Boxes" that can be ordered straight to your dorm or off campus housing, and not to leave anyone out, Abstinence boxes as well. It was a thoroughly enlightening 45 minutes!

Raylene Taskoski talks to Daniel Greenwolf, a Celtic magician, podcaster, poly guy, queer advocate, and kilt wearing ginger. We talk about Covid and how it affected his business,  how his relationship with his husband and wife started, their individual other partners, testing, and more. I get really nosy. LOL

 

Daniel GreenWolf has been a Professional Magician for over 20 years. He's appeared on AMC's "Dispatches From Elsewhere", in the award winning Documentary "Magic Camp", and has performed at Faires and Festivals across the United States.

He's also been the Co-Owner of the Midsummer Fantasy Renaissance Faire out of Ansonia, CT for ten years, which brings together 150 volunteers, 20 professional acts, a dozen food vendors, and over 60 Artisan vendors from all over the World for a 3 Weekend Summer Festival. 

He also wears a kilt and talks about Irish stuff in his show to an uncomfortable extent.

Raylene Taskoski talks to Joy Nystrom a dairy farming, comedian, author, podcaster about Sex. (and waffles).

 

Joy is the host of her podcast Sex and Waffles- an American Whoreor Story, the creator of her blog Sex and Waffles and the author of her book Sex and Waffles: Unleash your Kracken. Joy is also a full-time dairy farmer and marathoner. She is working on her second book An American Whoreor Story, set to be published 2/14/2021. When Joy is not working or writing she enjoys taking care of her house plants which she refers to as “the real houseplants of plantlanta” and reading books.

The Puberty Professor

Raylene Taskoski talks to Lori Reichel about all the things she does and assets she has to talk to kids about their bodies and puberty as they reach that age.
